Overview

A practical workshop that builds on lessons learnt in the recession to identify levers that create organisational longevity - the ability to manage change and uncertainty effectively, retain a competitive edge whatever the circumstances, building on a platform of truly engaged employees.

Content

The workshop will be preceded by a survey of CRF members to assess steps they are taking to become more consistently ‘nimble', with the results circulated in a research briefing. The workshop will also review the results of other research and expert views, in order to address such questions as:

• What has been learnt in terms of ‘must do' and ‘must avoid' in order to be more recession-proof?
• Achieving a healthier balance between short and longer-term goals, despite uncertain operating environments.
• How to build resilience for all employees - leaders, managers, employees - and trust between all stakeholders.
• Embedding adaptive and creative mindsets that can flourish in adversity.
• Building sustainable engagement, spanning both recession and growth periods.How the ‘positive strengths' approach applies in difficult times, and aids the management of emotions.Workshop Leader
